Trophies are slotless Wondrous Items that provide passive benefits to the entire party rather than to an individual. These trophies are typically displayed on a party member, a mount, or within a shared headquarters. Each trophy represents a monster the party has slain and embodies its magical influence.
Only one trophy can be active at any time.
While within 30 feet of the displayed trophy, party members who rest for 8 hours gain its benefits for 7 days or until the trophy is replaced or destroyed—whichever comes first.
Magical effects from multiple trophies do not stack. If more than one trophy is displayed, their effects cancel each other out.
Swapping trophies requires the party to rest for 8 hours near the new trophy in order to activate it.
Similar trophies or trinkets do not stack; only the strongest effect applies.
Most trophies cannot be crafted. They manifest through the natural and magical forces that arise from slaying powerful monsters.
